That I have to find out. One interesting observation though. Now that it
is getting darker, the noise is going down. This is of course good news
since this is 160m. I hadn't noticed this earlier because I was falsely
assuming that it was broadband noise. But it is still 6 dB over the
baseline outside the noise spectrum. The fans are still running normally
there so it is not them.
The distance between my inv L and the chicken house is 1000' and I can
move the antenna so that it would be 1300'. This might help some. Also
adding some receiving antennas could eliminate a lot of it.
If the chicken house generates RF hash into the power company power
lines, can I get the power company to get the guy to fix it? Are there
any laws regarding this?
