Pat: I've always felt compromised with just the hex beam, but it is a "magic band".  Jussi was decoding V26OC too but I didn't see him connect either.  I did pick up YV1GIY for a band counter.  I have only 33 countries on 6M.
Sorry I have to miss you guys/gals next Saturday.  Caregiving has become more intense.

The best antennas won’t fix propagation on 6M.  I decoded V26OC (didn’t need) solid for 30 minutes and never heard FJ/DK6AS.  Saw folks in EM10/EM20/EM13/EM48 work him but not a peep here.  Antigua and St. Barts are about 90 miles apart.  The opening ended here around 16:25.

V26OC and FJ/DK6AS are same heading, but neither are decoding for me yet.  Better antennas will prevail.
