[ADXA] South Sudan on 10M FT8

Reviewed my WSJT feed and he was in here from 1208 until 1433. Interesting propagation. I was running 75 watts.
Little change of subject, but earlier this summer, I decoded EY8MM on 6 m for quite a while. Called him with no response. I emailed him, and he said that he never copied a single North American station despite having a good signal in the Arkansas. Go figure

Well, I did hear South Sudan for about 10 minutes and then it was like someone - probably George - turned off a switch. BAM...Z81D was GONE! And then George kept rubbing my nose in it by declaring, "...he a plus 5 here!"

Interesting situation here this morning, speaking of small footprints. Charles (K5CS) has moved to a hilltop southwest of downtown Russellville and has a HexBeam. We are less than a mile apart as the hawk flies. Me down in the valley with my Mosley, I was hearing both S Sudan and others from that area, while Charles was not seeing anything print out. At times he was +05 or greater and down to -15 and sometimes gone. Crazy like 6m for sure. I was not able to break through to get him, but it would have only been a band counter.
See everybody on Saturday.

Thanks! Sometimes 10 m acts like 6 m with that small footprint of propagation. Better find your mountain soon -they’re all being purchased by out of staters

Congrats! I never heard him here. I guess I'm going to have a find a mountain in AR with no noise. Thanks for the follow-up.

Thanks Lanny. No copy in EM55. I see plenty of ops calling though.
