[ADXA] Happy 80th Birthday

Yes, Phlash is a strange gentleman when it comes to traveling the USA each year, using up to 70,000 miles. I think his current car has about 300,000 miles on it!! He knows his geography very well, back roads, unusual historical area short visits, taking many photos, etc… I am trying to get him to drop by Branson MO so we can introduce him to the #1 Hits of the 60s show and have the audience meet him in person. Been trying for 3-4 years but no results yet.

We will be listening today during the last hour from 10-11AM Central Standard time, all while driving my truck around tuned to 60s Gold channel 73 on Sirius XM. We only get Sirius on the truck radio, paid for annually.  Neat music from 50s thru 70s mainly for me and Melinda.

I've listened to Phlash Phelps for many, many years.  Probably pretty much since I got XM 20+ years ago.  Always enjoy his geography lessons every day.

I think tomorrow a good friend Phlash Phelps who does the Sirius XM 60s show announcing every morning from 8-11AM will be making a brief mentioning of Melinda and me. Nobody ever knows what he will say or be reading. 😄  Boy, does he travel to all 50 states every year for the heck of it..  that’s Phlash!  He knows of my radio announcing at KWAK and KDEW back decades ago and also at WQXI-AM in Atlanta in the 1962-63  timeframe. Time does fly by quickly for sure when you look back retrospectively.
