[ADXA] Happy 80th Birthday

Thank you Nick..
I do remember my days of being with Elvis in 1956 when I lived in Memphis and went to his first “home” on Audubon Drive a few times before his buying Graceland in March 1957 for him mom and dad. I went to East High School and was 13 then, and Elvis was 21. My good friend who drove me to Elvis’ home was 16. His dad knew Elvis’ dad Vernon. Boy what memories. Never saw Elvis again after moving back to Arkansas on Jan 1, 1957 to Stuttgart.
Hope maybe see you at OWS Saturday.

Happy birthday and congratulations, San!  I always enjoy your stories of DXing and DXpeditions and Memphis musicians, etc.

I'll try to remember to listen to that Phlash guy. I'm more of an Underground Garage guy but I do listen to the 60s channel too. And I have a Google hockey puck in the shack and can command it to stream the show.  If I can remember.

I've listened to Phlash Phelps for many, many years.  Probably pretty much since I got XM 20+ years ago.  Always enjoy his geography lessons every day.

TU Steve and happy DXing to you.. hi
I have appreciated the #80 birthday wishes thru ADXA and directly to me via emails or couple of phone calls.  Thanks to all so much.
I think tomorrow a good friend Phlash Phelps who does the Sirius XM 60s show announcing every morning from 8-11AM will be making a brief mentioning of Melinda and me. Nobody ever knows what he will say or be reading. 😄  Boy, does he travel to all 50 states every year for the heck of it..  that’s Phlash!  He knows of my radio announcing at KWAK and KDEW back decades ago and also at WQXI-AM in Atlanta in the 1962-63  timeframe. Time does fly by quickly for sure when you look back retrospectively.
