[ADXA] So sad to admit the deterioration of DXing in recent years . .

I never thought during my first 45 years of DXing that things would fall down so much as the past 20 years have shown. So much deliberate QRM and not adhering to honoring those trying to honor the old standards we had in the past with the DX Code Conduct. Sad, and the 3Y0J trip has brought out so much poor Code of Conduct failures… A lot of “old timers” are slowly giving up a bit on chasing DX as in the past. Not worth the effort and then experience frustrations of seeing what’s happening in today’s DX world. Good luck to those younger or shorter time DXers out there. 👍

Fortunately Joel W5ZN and Rick K5UR have kept our ADXA abreast of proper DXing ethics and helping each other out so much when questions arise. I think much of what we hear with the QRMers out there comes from those with little or no club involvements and likely with few if any ham friends. If they don’t have fun in the hobby, then leave it and start golfing or fishing every day and then drinking at bars every night. I pity the wives involved with these QRM idiots. 🤢

A sincere 73 to ADXA members,
San K5YY >>> ham radio since late 1957…. SWLing early 1954-mid 1957 - FUN DAYS! 😊
