Well, every time I could possibly  hear them, the same US jammers are in
there.  I have about given up.  I feel  if they did FT8 on 30 meters,
I'd have a chance but there is no way I can do a Q on CW when the
jammers transmit when he sends your call.  I've seen bad behavior before
but usually the  DX had multiple stations going, amps, yagis, etc.  It
wasn't nearly as tough as this. This must be a huge disappointment to
this team after working so hard to make the trip perfect.  I can live
without Bouvet but these guys are literally risking their lives.  Bernie
told me to point my antenna at the longpath on 30.  I had to tell him
that my antenna was a combo, LP/SP, a dipole.  It does rotate but that
isn't helping much.

73 and GL all,

Steve, QQ

If that is true, I’m happy for them. It didn’t rain today, so i put up a 30M sloper that should be favorable to them. I heard them very well on 30M early in the evening yesterday, on the tribander, but wasn’t ready to transmit yet. I hope this sloper does the job. i’d like to get just one contact on CW. My previous credit was for 15 SSB.
