[ADXA] I need a “Clublog for Dummies” book

Dennis,
I believe the discrepancy you describe in ClubLog actually begins with
ARRL and Logbook of the World. Here is a personal case to back me up:
Last year I checked a card with one of our card checkers for a RTTY
contact I made with T32BG in February of 1988. In LoTW I received DXCC
country credit but the actual contact information I uploaded to the LoTW
online log does not show a QSL confirmation. There is a disconnect
between the card QSL desk and the online log. Now go to Clublog and my
record of the contact is listed as worked, but not confirmed. Because
of that, I don't enjoy DXCC credit for the contact there. To this day,
in Clublog I have not officially worked East Kiribati...but in LoTW I
have. I believe Clublog doesn't give confirmed credit for a contact
unless the confirmation shows up in the LoTW database...which in my case
it doesn't. The situation will be remedied as soon as the current
DXpedition confirms my contacts. But what happens when - hypothetically
- I work North Korea, get a card and get it checked? I will likely
never get that precious contact confirmed in Clublog. Sigh...
