[ADXA] Special Guest at ADXA Annual Conference November 11

Greetings ADXA Folks,

 

For the past four months I have been working to arrange a very special guest
for our annual meeting and conference November 11. I have purposely not told
anyone who I was negotiating with (other than ADXA VP W5VY) simply because
you don't advertise something of this prominence until it is firm. My
silence regarding the annual conference was intentional !!!

 

Our very special guest for the ADXA annual conference is Adrian Ciuperca,
KO8SCA, one of the very few people in the world who has actually set foot on
Bouvet Island! Adrian has also been a team member of several other major
DXpeditions.

 

More details forthcoming now that this has been confirmed. I still do not
know the location simply because we need to decide how to best accommodate
our members given the geographical separation between the Little Rock area
members and northwest Arkansas members. I can tell you it will be in one of
those two locations. I want to personally ask everyone to plan to attend
regardless of the location. We need a good turnout and you will have special
time to meet and chat with Adrian, a true world class and famous DX'er.

 

So, standby for specific details now that we have Adrian confirmed. You do
NOT want to miss this conference!!!!!
