Well said Sir Joel and very informative about ITU etc. Also, our ham hobby is “like a box of chocolates” as Gump would say.

The only thing that keeps the FCC from eliminating amateur radio is the Amateur Radio Service is an internationally licensed radio service with spectrum allocations defined by the International Telecommunications Union.

As Forrest Gump would say, "That's all I have to say about that!"

On page 2b of 8/7 printed edition. Basically everything we know. The only thing the FCC would say is "we look after the interests of amateur radio." Kind of a weak response. Wall Street has more money than we do. Cross you fingers.
