The K index went high from 2 to 4. We printed him both nights on 30m, but Christmas night (Sunday) was better. Then last night thanks to Stan K5VR Theirry had a huge signal on 20m short path at 0436, but that didn’t last long. Only a few minutes and I was afraid it was a pirate since he has changed to even interval from Odd to Even! That turned out to be legit QSO! FT8 commandos see: https://www.qrz.com/db/FT8WW
Also have a look at this link: http://crozet2022.r-e-f.org/ Being a equipment freak the first thing I noticed on the scrolling pictures was his Bengali Traveler paddle, LOL.
Chased him on CW early this morning on 17m and 20m. However that mode doesn’t have the S/N like the digital mode. Plus with the K index on the rise you get the point. Still I am in the chase! Still hoping for more bands and modes, but sure glad he is there.
The world has gone mad over this, but IMHO they really need to do some reading on his web site and on QRZ.com.
I sure appreciate his one man show and hopes he has broad shoulders from all the negative cluster notes!!
Gud luck guys and gals! 73 de jay..

Been watching the past hour or so, just in case. All of the sudden I saw "him" with a +10 db report. I called ONCE, just in case and of course never saw him again. Over the next month, it's only going to get worse trying to figure out what's real. I just wish I was in the boots of the big guns locally that have Crozet in their log from times gone by.
Just now he was decoded a couple of times, but with a -10 or a +01. I'll watch for a few cycles to see what gives. Hopes not very high on 30m for me. I did see him a bunch on 20m earlier today, but no joy.
