QSL Dennis.
I am going to make HQ aware of this just the same. We want tQsL and LOTW working as flawlessly as possible. The feedback might be helpful to our programmers.

When I went to the ARRL site for tips on “TQSL won’t update”, it had a lot of computer settings to check and implied that you couldn’t just download and install a new version. Not knowing exactly how the certificates work, I was afraid to take that step until friends recommended it. However, that appears to be the most common solution, rather than messing with Windows settings. The only suggestion I might have is for them to show that as a possible solution to try before screwing around with all kinds of settings. The only caveat is to make a backup first of your certificate and locations first, but that is easy. Any idiot can do it (as evidenced by my success :).

I sent an e-mail on Friday to the lotw help desk and they will eventually get back to me, I’m sure, but there are a lot of smart people here….

DXLab keeps reminding me that there is a new version available and I have tried to upgrade numerous times but TQSL flashes an error message too quick to capture and goes away. On the Lotw site, there are some suggestions for solving this problem, but most of them are either over my head or I wasn’t in the mood to be an IT guy while reading them. My version works fine but there are a couple of new settings I’d like to implement.
