[ADXA] I'm clueless on this one - callsign/P (So what else is new?)

At the moment I’m sitting with the President of Radio Amateurs of Canada and IARU President Tim Ellam who is VE6SH. I asked them, specifically with respect to the Canadian stations, and they have no clue other than to note a “Portable” operation away from one’s “home grid” and the /P is just to indicate they are operating away from their home grid.
Other than that, we have no clue!!!
