We’ve all lost people but it is a real kick in the gut to lose someone like Frank. I remember when he first arrived in Arkansas and it was clear that he was a real “big gun”. I liked his booming voice and always enjoyed seeing him and Madge. He always made me feel like he was glad to see me, too, and I think he treated everyone that way. I remember when he needed a medical procedure (heart, I think) but he also needed an upcoming Johnston Island DXPedition on RTTY. You can guess how that came out. He survived the Dxpedition but as Hugh Cassidy would say, he was one of the “deserving” and he just worked ‘em.

Rest in peace, Frank. You won’t be forgotten.

Dennis
