[ADXA] WSJT, et al Question

This is a source of constant frustration with me. I've been working with
Windows since it first came out. I"m also well versed in a number of
larger computers, including mainframes, from a hardware, operating system,
programming language and application software level. Frankly, I'm
something of an expert in technology. But I am having a dickens of a time
maintaining a stable WSJT-X environment. Each time I get it like I want
it, and begin successfully using it, either Windows or WSJT-X wants to do
an upgrade.

I moved my business and personal computing to Apple about 8 years ago, and
have zero regrets over that. Much more stable, easier to manage, and I can
focus on my business not my technology.

I'm thinking about building a good Unix box to run my ham applications on,
and moving away from Windows for good.

Let me be clear - I don't think that I have nothing to learn. I would love
for someone to explain to me what I'm doing wrong in Windows, because I
have two perfectly good laptops I'd love to deploy for my radio hobby.

Just my two cents.
