[ADXA] WSJT, et al Question

So my Windows 10 machine updated, Dell.  After it was over, my CODECS 
were gone.  I questioned this on WSJT and was told yes, that a Windows 
update wipes out my devices.  So, do I have to go back to the Kenwood 
page and download the drivers for my 890 and 590 again?  And do I 
understand this correctly that everytime Windows 10 updates, my programs 
are trashed?  That is what I'm hearing on the WSJT reflector.  Is this 
anyone else's experience.
