Thanks Pat, Yes indeed. Only 10 WAS awards have been issued on 222 MHz. 
Actually those were back in the 220 MHz days. There is a group of about 
six who have been pursuing 222 WAS over the past several months. Three 
of us have completed; K1WHS, WA4NJP and me. I already had all of my 
paperwork in order, 42 confirmed on LoTW and I had seven cards already 
in hand so as soon as the NH6Y Hawaii confirmation hit LoTW today I 
filed my application. The others who are close include K5QE & K1OR with 
49, N9HF has 48 and N0AKC has 47.

The bulk of my 220/222 MHz contacts were worked via tropo and meteor 
scatter, several in the "old days" before digital. Of course, KH6, KL7 
and the three west coast states had to be worked on EME.

It is a passion and a mission now complete, so on to the next challenge!
