[ADXA] RTTY today, lot of quickie fun and new prefixes. But, no new ones ….

The upper bands were fairly open this morning to JA and EU for the RTTY TEST. No new ones worked but I did work some of the different prefixes that were not “usual”. Using only 14 RTTY and slowly tuning from 14080 to 14131 I managed about 45 QSOs in less than 30 minutes. Lot of strong side QSOs caused signal depression of the weak stuff in EU but going from 500 cycle bandwidth to 250 cycle passband made a big difference.
For heck of it I did work about 10 NA stations that might have needed AR for a counter. Lot of fun but not as much perhaps as FT8 or FT4 guys having to use the VFO and slowly dialing for a change over a 50 kc range. 😊 IIWII…
