Thanks info Jay. 

Regarding its DXCC status due to this, this is not the first time in
history this has occurred. I believe Albania and China are recent "past"
similar situation and both are now quite active. 

Anywho, I don't expect there to be a change in its DXCC status. Now,
North Korea on the other hand........................(read that to mean
I have Turkmenistan so I'm not worried about it!!!  :-)))
