George,

I have an envelope for Chak that I have been holding for a couple of months. Mongolia is on the list of countries with suspended mail service:

It appears that Mongolia has suspended their mail service.

I had sent a QSL card to JT1CO on 6/20/20 since he does not use LoTW. I was surprised when I got it back today. Don't think it made it to Mongolia and back in the short time, but somewhere on the West Coast, they determined that it was going to be undeliverables over there.

One of the attached stickers said to go to the PO counter to get a refund on the postage. I did this and received $1.20 back on a $1.05 Forever stamp I have had a few of for a couple of years. It was the first time the clerk had seen this, but figured it out in just a couple of minutes.

Guess I'll save it and put my stuff in a new envelop and a new (old) Forever stamp on it in a few months. I had seen that some countries mail service was delayed or even suspended, so I got caught in the suspended part.
