[ADXA] Fwd: OZK Picnic

All,

Well I am compelled to jump into this.   While I did not check into the OZK
Nets, I did attend the OZK Picnic at Burns Park.  It was a chance to meet
up with some of my Arkansas ARMY MARS Friends such as WA5KEF, Ted.   The
Burns Park Picnic slowly morphed into the Hamfest.   I remember all of
those guys.  Ed Butcher, WA5EHB, Elmer Wingfield, W5FD, H.O. Tyler, W5GKO,
Jerry Deadman, W5KKO,  just to name a few.  But I could go on and on.

And speaking of the Arkansas Post Office Net.   I remember Al Simpson,
WA5TJB and Gene Stanley, WA5PWP that used to check in just about every day.

Those were the golden days of Amateur Radio.
