Thought I would put this item I have not used in 10 years up for sale. W5MQ prompted me to buy this in 2004 and I got one of the last 10 Palstar AT4K units built with the built in LED output scale that varied with your CW or SSB output. That was deleted later when the later AT4K came out with less quality components due to the high price in 2004. Then the AT5K came out with the SAME heavy duty components of the AT4K my unit has. Read Product Reviews for great reviews but make sure it is for the early AT4K like I have. Review back to 2004- 2006 timeframe.

Good for 3KW, has fan installed if heat detected, 2.5 KW constant KEYDOWN capable. 2 coax , direct and bypass, balance line feeder etc. 2 big cap variables, roller inductor rated at 5kV at 15 amps, etc. So much quality. Size is big : 7” tall, 15” wide and 17” deep. Weighs a big 22 pounds. Does so much more and the best I have ever owned but just not used since my 20-10m antenna is 1:1 and tuner not needed. Initially thought I would have it as spare for my 160-40 meter antennas but settled for the Nye Viking in line which had problems that I corrected. So the Palstar stayed IN LINE with my main HF station and only thing I used was the power output/reflected power meter and the tuner was in the bypass status at all times!! TU Bennie for the suggestion.

If interested at a low price, email me. I did pay $900 for this unit and the AT5K was later priced above $1000 when it came out. Make offer if you like..This will be pickup or meet half way. Original manual, mint. Tuner condition excellent. More items up for sale later. Perhaps the LK550ZC three tube 3-500Z amplifier just sitting.
