[ADXA] Apology for a Priakos "misdirected' personal email. Was sent to REPLY and not REPLY ALL . . .

Earlier today I sent a “personal email” in response to Bill W5SJ sending an email to the “ADXA list”.  I sent a comment to “REPLY” and NOT to “reply all”, thinking it would go to Bill only as usual. My sent mail says it went to Bill Priakos and NOT to the ADXA members. Bill has sent some emails to me with another of his email addresses.  After seeing Bill Priakos via ADXA in the “from” email, I assumed a REPLY would go to him. I did NOT send to REPLY ALL… I think maybe the ADXA members got something that was personal and comments from me  to Bill only… That is the purpose of this apologetic email to the group.
  
I had commented on the situation of FT8 QSOs which I do not participate in. So many operators have said they were not sure of QSOs on FT8 and a lot is due to logging situations associated with the FT modes and the different software mechanisms going on. I know many re-work a DX station if the logs do not show contacts, tho they do later. I sent 2-3 comments back to Bill, one was that a friend had worked TX7T a few more QSOs than actual band modes in the log, indicating dupes on a few bands or perhaps a lot of extra QSOs due to calling to say a quick “hello” to Bill. The logs have been updated frequently, so I felt they were “hello” quick QSOs..  I myself had 2 dupe QSOs indicated on the log info sheet, both early on when DQRM kept me from hearing a return to me and I reworked him within minutes and another that I was not aware of having worked initially at all.  

I do apologize to that individual for my not clearly making a funny comment about the FT8 confusion stuff and about the alternative to what may have happened by saying “hello” to Bill and perhaps being logged too quickly by Bill.... The whole problem is in the Bill Priakos via ADXA “sent from” and not via Bill’s personal email address. Not sure why it was sent that way but my REPLY was to BILL and not the ADXA List as a Reply All. I am so down about this situation. I even used the word SHIT in the subject area above the email.. the SHIT word doesn’t bother me, but the confusion my friend may have had in reading the email is so depressing to me. When I pull up my sent email to Bill, the “TO” at the top clearly says Bill Priakos. Nowhere is ADXA replied to. So sorry the ADXA email to and from sections may have been stranger than usual but it was in this case.  A person sent me an email and I replied to that person.

As result of this fiasco, I shall not send anything in the future to the ADXA as a whole and will only reply to the person in all cases, making sure his email address IS his personal email address and does not have ADXA in it in any way, .org or otherwise. Guys, check your “to” and “from” sections of your emails very closely, especially club and business email systems.
