Did know Didier would be using an FO/ call from TX7-0 land.. I know Marquesas is a French possession and a DXCC entity based on the “rules”, but in the past FO0 was applied initially until the TX7 etc prefixes started being used. Shouldn’t he be TX7/F6BCW. What am I missing here? FO is a separate country than TX, right? And why is he not using TX7T? Maybe not a team member per se… Signing FO/ just does NOT distinguish exactly where he is then, Fren. Polynesia or Marquesas or Austral I assume..

Didier, F6BCW, is there as FO/F6BCW. He arrived ahead of the team so the FO/F6BCW spot should have been a good one.

Then the information you gave earlier about them being on 7mc CW must have been a pirate. I checked DX Summit at the time of your last post and did NOT find a spot about 7mc CW. Maybe the site you got that info on is not that accurate.... I would stick to DX Summit if you could, a lot more accurate.
I just got a TEXT from Bill and they were still on the plane, landing soon.. I see no other DX Summit spot of valid information of them being on the air. So will just stand by for now.. hi

Bill, W5SJ reports this morning that they are on the plane and should be in the Marquesas by about 16:00 our time and have something on the air by 12:00Z tomorrow.
