Ron, interesting story. I recently read an article that outlined use of
new Metal-organic Frameworks to capture Lithium from the discharge of the
oil/gas well fracking process.
Back to DXing.....JD1/M Minami-Tori-Shima/Marcus Island is one I need and
I've never heard anyone there. It's #26 on the current ClubLog list.
JD8NQJ goes there occasionally on work assignments. I think he is there
now but don't think he has been active. Civilians are restricted from the
Island execpt got the Meteorological Agency. Probably would make it
difficult to stage a DXpedition. Wikipedia has good info on history.
If anyone has any hints on snagging JD1/M please share!
73,
Pat,
