Got lots of responders to the request for updated progress reports. In no
particular order here is the rundown.
Jerry, WU1U, operating from Hot Springs Village, added 20 to his Mixed
count and gained DXCC on three new bands; 40, 17 and 12M. Jerry is also
closing in on the Desoto Challenge 1000 level. He has also qualified for
the basic CQ WPX and WPX-SSB awards.
Earl, N5ZM, continues to add band multipliers to his already impressive
totals. He added news one on 160 and 80M (claims Full Moon enhancement!).
Earl is at 2825 on the Challenge...quite an accomplishment.
Our hard working Secretary/Treasurer Glen, N5RN, added DXCC on CW Mode
(123) and a bunch on new ones on 80M.
Ken, K5ALQ, updated is his numbers to reflect some recent additons. FB
totals Ken. He also noted that he hold WAS (50 Years ago!), WAC-Phone, and
WAZ-SSB.
San, K5YY, provided his impressive summary. San has been an active DXer
and DXpeditioner since the 60's. He has handed out a ton of new ones to
folks over the years. San is well know throughout the DXing community and
was elected to the CQ DX Hall of Fame in 1983. He has 121 confirmed on
60M. If/when 60M is added to the DXCC mix, he will be on or near the top
for that band. Take a look at his page on QRZ.com for more info.
I made adjustments to reflect deletion of Kingman Reef for the Top of the
Honor Roll memebers.
Please look over your information. If you find errors please shoot me an
update.
Don't forget to put the Russellville Hamfes, held on March 4th, on your
calendar. The Arkansas River Valley Amateur Radio Foundation (ARVARF)
folks do a great job putting on this event. They have a new, larger venue
this year. Check it out at http://www.arvarf.com . ADXA will be holding a
DX Forum at the fest.
73,
Pat, W5VY
