[ADXA] W9WNV at Dayton DX banquet

Nice story Dennis. Hope we get to see the photo hi! Saw him from a distance
at Dayton 5 or 6 years ago. Lots of the old timers
are still holding a grudge against him for his radio work. Heard him a
couple of times as SWL in the 60's and have some of
his cards. I exchanged e-mails with him about 3 or 4 years ago and got him
to autograph a CQ cover from 67 I think with
him on the cover. I did talk to Gus Browning at Dayton many years ago. Saw
him sitting alone next to a table as I was walking
around. One of my friends from NC told me the hams had to chip in to cover
his funeral expenses. Sad to hear.

On a brighter note, how many are going to Dallas Ham-Com? Hope to see you
