I took it hard when I couldn't work BS7H last time they were on and
don't want it to happen again. My antenna is a Cushcraft A-3 up
about 60 feet. Needless to say, I'm not sure working them this time
is going to be a slam dunk.

I'm tempted to put up a "good" temporary antenna for one of the WARC
bands. Maybe a wire beam, etc. I guess the beam heading is about
the same as for DU. Any suggestions for band and type of
antenna? I was thinking maybe 30 meters? 17 meters might be open
to that part of the world - I haven't been able to get on the air
enough lately to know. I assumed probably 20 and 30 would have the
best propagation. Maybe a fixed wire beam for 20 meters would be
best. I guess the problem with putting up a fixed beam is that one
is assuming the signals will come by the normal path - not crooked
path, or long path, etc.

Any ideas would be appreciated - including info on when they are
expected to be on the air. I didn't have any trouble working
Swain's with the A-3 but I think Scarborough will be a different
story. I may have to just camp out at the BAT location for a couple of days!
