Thanks Brian.

I have forgotten so much during my three year break!

I believe I was running without AGC last time but I tried it on this new
receive setup last night and it did not seem to work well. It made an
absolute mess of every waterfall and I had the feeling decodes were
compromised. It didn't seem like WSJT-X was being overloaded but it must
have been. I will have to look into that further. For the moment I think
my customized fast AGC settings work best.

It is possible I will end up going back to the previous receivers if I
feel this isn't working well enough. But there are certain advantages to
the new setup so I will give it every chance first.

I have plenty of things making noise around me too!
