[600MRG] My TXing experience on 630m

If I can get the 80/40m dipole hung this winter, it might work for
receiving (without ground plane). Loading will be shifted due to
different design and ground conditions (120-foot away from previous
site). The vertical will be two runs of RG-8 spaced 3-inch to make
300-ohm open wire feed to the dipoles and shorted to become vertical-Tee
on 630 & 160m.

My original plan was placing the 600m NDB xmtr at the base coil, but now
looks simpler to have xmtr at the shack so one coax line will serve as
feed. A vacuum relay will be used to short loading coil turns for the
160m tap (and be open for 630m). Coax is connected 2-1/2 turns from
ground end of the base loading coil to present 50-ohm for the coax.

I can run 100w output into the coax on 630m and up to 1200w on 160m
(when I complete the amplifier - MRF-1K50H from W6PQL). Switching
feedline easier at the shack. The Inv-L calculated 4% EIRP for 4w, so
expect the Tee to be similar efficiency (unknown until I test using
MFJ-269D with radials next spring). Inv-L tested R=20 ohms; radiation R
calculated 0.8, so eff= 0.8/20 = 0.04

80/40m will be fed thru 4:1 balun at ground end of the open wire and
also be capable of 1200w.
