[600MRG] New Antenna near Tree + Rain

Paul,

Interesting. My "old" invert-L would shift with soil condition between
summer and winter about 20-Hz. I use a tapped HB base loading coil.

In Nov. 2020 the 50-foot support tower came down in extreme winds. I
decided to change to a style T. I will use my 80m dipole and 40m dipole
at top hat with wires run at 90-degrees to each other. Center will be
40-foot high so I can access using a man-lift that can reach that high.
Dipole ends will be about 30-foot high.

Feed will be two runs of RG-213 spaced a foot apart hung from 40-foot to
ground where the loading coil will be mounted. I will just use the
shields of the coax as parallel open wire feed.

I will run radials across my lawn this summer (soon)(probably six).
This is different than the radial system used on the invert-L so I
expect tuning to be different. Hope to have this up by October.
