Congratulations to all. I really feel guilty having a handful of both low band receivers, transmitters, and a 800 watt amplifier sitting on the desk ready to connect and get on the air from Kansas. Life keeps getting in the way.

There needs to be some contest like weekend set up for next Fall so that everyone has a target for activity to shoot for.

I have considered a portable station and a rover vacation (if a retired guy can have a vacation?) around the western states that aren't active and that Eric probably needs. Again, inertia.

We need the core to keep things moving. My rant.

This was the result of a continuing effort by the two of us to make this contact. It was not easy and took many station upgrades and modifications to make this work. But the effort paid off.

In fact there really is little point in maintaining my 2200m station. Shortly I will need to mothball the 2200m TX antenna for the summer season. At this point I see no reason to put it back up in the fall.
