In the electrical departments of hardware stores, home centers, and naturally electrical supply houses, you will find products that are specifically meant to stop such corrosion. The generic name I call them is "No-Ox" products. The most common brands I see in local stores are Ideal's NOALOX and GB's Ox-Gard.
These products are conductive greases meant for protecting electrical connections from corrosion. But in a pinch even ordinary heavy grease will work to slow oxidation on well-clamped connections.

What can be used ( and purchased at home repair store, etc ) to hold off corrosion when bonding galvanized,
aluminum, or stainless steel to copper ?? ( my ground rod specifically ) .. The white - powdery corrosion sets in
