w0yse will be running WSQcall on BOTH MF bands tonight until sunrise in Vancouver WA (~1354z) to support and encourage QSO's with this mode.
On 160m, my USB DIAL will be at the WSPR dial of 1836.6 kHz with an offset of 1700 hz. Set your SPEED to 1 baud in WSQcall and then click on the 'UP 200' button to put your offset at 1700. Note: be sure to do the "UP 200" LAST or the program may revert back to the WSPR band (1500 hz).
Similarly, on 630m I am using the WSPR dial of 474.2 kHz with an offset of 1700. Again, be sure to set your SPEED to 1 baud in WSQcall FIRST and then click on the 'UP 200' button to put your offset at 1700. Note: be sure to do the "UP 200" LAST or the program may revert back to the WSPR band (1500 hz).
I will run beacons ('soundings') every 30 minutes on these frequencies throughout the night.
Thanks for any reports and/or check-ins for SNR, etc. Feel free to do a WSQ QSO on these frequencies as well. Hopefully my beaconing will not QRM your QSO efforts, hi.
