[600MRG] JT9 and split - food for thought?

Yes, that change in behavior where it does not always move TX freq
when double clicking a call sign is driving me insane! Not that I
had far to go. I hate that "feature". I believe there is a way to
force it by holding down some key or other while double clicking,
but I need to find it in the manual so I can start training myself
to do it.

Many of the JT9 signals I saw last night were not decoding even
though the appeared visually to be overriding the interference.
Evidently my particular flavor of local PWM / motor speed controller
really confuses the JT9 decoder. Audibly the interference is a buzzy
whirring sound, definitely not clean or steady tones. Visibly it
appears to be tight clusters of waterfall lines with spacing of a
few Hz (not visibly much different from JT9 tone spacing,
actually!), several lines per cluster. I don't wonder the decoder is
confused.
