My 2 cents,,

Yes on the "Reply All"

Yes on Changing Subject line if the reply takes message way off original 
topic.

Now Trimming Messages.

YES AND NO

There is absolutely nothing worse Than reading a reply to a message, 
that you have zero idea as to what the reply is about.

I see this on many message systems where people trim it all, and you 
have no idea as to what the reply is about. It is like walking into a 
room, and the speaker says.

"Yes I agree 100%"  and nothing else!

What is he agreeing to?

So yes trim messages, but ONLY remove the parts that have nothing to do 
with the reply.
