That's correct - thats why I said you should use your ham call sign.
There is an active WSPR community in the ham band with between 150 - 200
stations so you stand a far better chance of receiving reports if you use
474.2 dial freq and your ham call rather than 471. Who is going to be
listening on 471? If you are going to beacon, WSPR IS the most efficient
way to do it and receive a lot of reports...
If you are using XSH call sign so you can use more power thats fine but
your goal is to get reports and I doubt many people are going to park
receivers outside of the ham band that are already established WSPR users.
