I am in the process of becoming QRV on 630 meters too. 

As some of you may know, I am quite active in traffic-handling, mostly on CW, but some 
digital too.

Since propagation on the HF bands has become so generally rotten, I have been using 160 
meters for much of our "local" traffic work, as have several other, mostly CW, nets across 
the continent.

Some of us also believe that 630 meters will be useful for our sort of work, so several of us 
are working to become active on that band too.

As I have discussed here a couple of times previously, my antenna for 630 meters will be 
very inefficient, but will work well enough for our needs.

Keeping my fingers crossed.
