Hi there,
If anyone is interested, I've had a Southern Avionics SC1000 DGPS USCG
transmitter for some time.
It's a commonly used model for the USCG's DGPS service. I've had it
going on both 2200 and 630 metres. It's currently retired due to
shortage of parts. I got my transmitter after a lightning strike caused
it to be decommissioned.
See https://www.qsl.net/zl1bpu/LFTX/LFTX.htm for the full story. This
could also serve as a 'how to get it going' for anyone else lucky enough
to grab one of these marvellous transmitters.
73,
Murray ZL1BPU
