Ya.  I suppose if every ham in his or her own country did not call CQ on
the DX "channel" because it was reserved for DX only, it would solve
the 'problem.'

I will call "CQ DX" on 50.110 -- only once or twice at a time -- to
perhaps catch a foreign station that is in the shack, doing something
else, and is in "SWL mode".  It has paid off now and then.

I will not respond to in-country (CONUS, lower 48) stations that call
me in response to my CQ.

I do not apologize.

(I believe it's been about one sunspot cycle since this
 rant was last hashed out on the 50MHZ email reflector.)
