If you have the space a Delta loop made from copper
refrigeration tubing and PVC will out-perform most
other single-element antennas.

It is 7' per side for 6M and may be tuned for most
of the HF bands in a pinch, plus will work fine on
2 & 440.

It seems it has both horizontal and vertical properties.

Construct it as an inverted triangle and feed it at
the bottom through about 6 turns of coax around the
PVC loop support section (2-2.5" dia. thick-wall PVC).

Make sure the metal mast is at least 12" below the
feedpoint (I doubled-up thick-wall PVC to bridge the
distance from top of mast up past the feedpoint), if
too close the metal mast will badly de-tune the loop.
(I discovered this the hard way.)
