Greetings,

For sale is a homebrew 6M 250W+ linear amplifier.

I took this amplifier out of service after completing the
modifications to my SB-200 for 6M. I purchased this amplifier a
couple of years ago and used it from time-to-time when the TS-60
barefoot was marginal. It requires about 5-10W drive to get the
full 250W output. The only issue I am aware of are the missing
Millen HV caps on the HV PS-to-Amplifier cable (see pix).

The present tube is an Eimac Y-391, a military specified and tested
variation of the 4CX300A tube. The socket is the SK-700. With a
socket replacement the amplifier could accommodate the 4CX250B,
4CX150, 3CX800 or any of the available Russian tubes.

The original circuit was a derivative of the 6M amplifier designs
from the 1957 and 1962 ARRL Handbooks.
