Howdy gang...  Now that the SMIRK Contest 2011 Rules have been announced,

I can announce my entry in the Contest...  I will once again be
"Broadcasting Live and Direct" from the BIG Caboose at the AC&J
Railroad...  Jefferson Ohio, Ashtabula County, EN91or...  I will be using
the same trusty setup I always use out there...  Kenwood TS-60 at 50W to
29.4ft of LMR-400 to the "DOMINATOR" antenna at 29.5ft...

I will be parked and locked calling on 52.525FM...  Pictures will be
available sometime during the week after the Contest, which I will post
the links to all the reflectors once I upload them to noars.net...

The only slight "glitch" is that I won't be able to be on the air the
whole 48 hours...  I will be on the air from 0000Z June 18 thru 1900Z June
19...  Since this is the first weekend of Passenger Train season at the
Railroad, I hafta be out of the Caboose so they can "put it away" when
they put the Passenger Train away Sunday afternoon...

I hope to work all my 6 Meter FM friends during this time...  I have
several "locals" up there that now have 6 Meter FM gear...  So if ya work
me, I might be able to get ya a point or two by passing you off to
"locals" that may be sitting around their rigs listening...  May the prop
godz be with us...
