I fall into that 1% -- which, I'm sure, is far greater than 1%.
Too, I have tinnitus; so I copy CW all day...

Getting back on subject..
Heretofore, I've been pleased with using noise cancelling earphones --
even tho' there is no noise in the environment.  I can't explain it, but
it works for me.  I notice a definite improvement in the signal-to-noise
ratio in the audio coming from the rig.  I.e., the background hiss on
weak signals becomes Way Less bothersome.
