Actually you CAN have a 37.1 but it doesn’t have to be on RF37....it could
be on ANY RF channel but call itself 37.1 (especially if it was new in the
market)..Virtual mapping....which is why you will also see anything from 1.1
to 99.1 !!!! I understand some groups are reserving the 7x.1 virtual
channels for national use....

Aint technology great?? Hey I going to operate 10 but call it 6.1 and make
QSOs all over the place :)

  Another major user of broadcast channel 37 is medical telemetry, or WMTS.
So you'll never see DTV 37.1, at least not for a looooooong time. :-)
