Nice!

Yes, it does seem "unfair" at times.

But! (Yes, I have discerned a few "buts" in there).

I've noticed that when others are hearing the DX stations, I may not be.
Even if a station that IS hearing them is only 50 miles away from my
location in the same grid, I still may not hear the same DX that they are
hearing at the same time they are hearing them. I've heard other local
stations give 59 reports when I'm barely getting an occasional syllable out
of the noise floor.

But!
If I keep listening on the DX spotted frequency, I have been able to work
them when the propagation changes. Those changes may only last a minute or
two, but it is usually long enough to work them. Granted, a few minute
opening is a lot tougher than a DX station being in for a couple of hours.

But!
If we can get them in the log and confirmed, a few minute opening is worth
just as much as a 2 hour opening. Be patient and listen.

KH6 from EM92? I can only dream! I'm still listening for that couple of
minutes of glory here.

But!
I'm going to be listening with the antenna on 285 degrees until I get that
moment.

But!
It may take a few more years. HI.

EU was elusive here at times too. When others North and South of me were
spotting them, All I was hearing was Ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssstatic!

But!
I got a few of them after listening for awhile (hours).

Anyway, congrats getting to work all the SA stations and KH6 you listed. I
can only wish I could have been as lucky to get such propagation.

But!
One nice thing that comes of hearing all that Ssssssssssssssstatic while
others are working them is that I get to spend a lot of uninterrupted time
on the antenna analyzer tweaking my dream antenna system and getting that
take off angle and gain just right so I can have 2 hour openings too.
Yessiree! Ya just gotta love 6 meters!

:-)

Yes a great opening South from EM56. Both HK7AAG & YV4AB were 569-599 for 90
minutes. P43JB was in for 2 hr.s. I hrd OA4TT good only for a minute or two
but no QSO. Derek J39BS was strong for an hour. PV8ADI was strong too.
......
It's been a good season here. Got KH6 to finish WAC. Got 4 ones so far which
puts me up to 53 now.
....
K3 @ 100w and 3 el at 55'
......
My only complaint if I say one is very few Eu hrd this summer. Painful to
see the East Coast guys spot it every day & nothing here. But I hear what
someone else doesn't so I guess everything evens out.
