All,
It's now confirmed that FFMA* #1 will be presented posthumously to
Fred Fish, W5FF (SK) in the person of his wife Lee Fish, K5FF, on
Saturday, October 25 at the Texoma Hamarama in Ardmore, OK. The
plan is to present Lee with the plaque at the ARRL forum which
begins at 9:30 AM. Coy Day, N5OK, ARRL West Gulf Division
director, will be making the presentation.
It would be great if everyone who knew Fred and Lee would make an
effort to be there. I know Lee would appreciate it.
Please feel free to repost this announcement anywhere you feel
appropriate. It has already been posted to the [CSVHFS] reflector,
and with this posting, it is also going to the [FFMA], [50MHz],
[PNWVHFS], and [VHF] reflectors. If you have access to any other
individuals, lists, or groups that might be appropriate, please
feel to cross-post this announcement.
Thanks,
