[50mhz] Kenwood TS480SAT

Gentlemen:
If there is someone out there who is familiar with the
Kenwood TS480SAT and owns one or has owned one, I 
would like to correspond with you andf ask you a few
questions about the radio. I have an opportunity to
purchase one very reasonable but first, need to know
how some of you like it.
IE: Do you only mount it with the control head and
radio separate, or do the two units go together like
the ICOM 706 and Yaesu FT100D? How is the receiver?
How is the Noise Blanker? Is it variable? etc., etc.,
