[50mhz] 6m Mobile Antennas

I doubt Larsen makes them in the low band size (which would be more like a
tire!)..

Mike, I have been watching this thread and I HAVE to ask....WHY a stealth
antenna? And NO WHIP??
You obviously DON'T want to work much/far on 6.....a simple 5.8 wave 2m
antenna will work on 6 (better than a base loaded 6m antenna!)....anything
LESS will be a dummy load so why even bother??? Ray's suggestion on the
AM/FM replacement is a good one and I have seen them in use (they are a
little longer than the normal AMFM antenna) but with today's cars using
shorter antennas and having special twist on them to prevent wind noise,
etc. you might have a problem in using that..plus the bandwidth is
restricted on them so you can only cover a small portion of what a normal
antenna would (a Larsen NMO-150 used on 6m will cover the entire band with
low SWR)

But my original question remains...WHY???? If you are trying to hide the
fact you are mobile on 6, why bother doing it in the 1st place??? I am a bit
confused and cannot understand why you would not want to just use a simple
antenna...
