[50mhz] New TenTec OMNI-VII due in October includes 6M!

Looks like this is going to be the 6M rig of choice if it lives up to its
advance billing. 100W output, 6M-capable ATU (optional), and a 1st IF that's
actually done RIGHT, with selectable Collins mechanical roofing filters all
the way down to 300 Hz. Looks like it has very good CW features beyond the
optional narrow filter, as well.

Figure it will come out somewhere around the price point of the IC-756 Pro
III ($3,000), which it was probably designed to compete with. Can't wait to
read some technical reviews of the receiver performance. And finally a radio
with a built-in Ethernet port! What took the ham radio industry so long to
figure THAT out? Hoping this rig doesn't turn out to be too good to be true!
